Please see attached four exciting new bitesize virtual workshops coming next month. They are totally free and you can just drop in using the links on the flyer.
These 1 hour online sessions cover a range of topics for school and college staff with responsibility for behaviour management, including designated safeguarding leads (DSLs), their deputies, head teachers and senior leadership teams in schools and colleges.
Sessions will include reporting to the police and interpreting the guidance which was included in KCSIE 2020. These bitesize sessions will focus on the National Police Chief Council (NPCC) guidance using case scenarios.
The NPCC guidance is embedded in KCSIE and the advice covers incidents on school and college premises where students have potentially committed a crime. It provides guidance on what schools and colleges should bear in mind when considering contacting the police.
