In Slough on Friday there is a free online webinar event on ‘Exploitation, Safeguarding and Intelligence sharing for businesses’.

This is the first such event jointly hosted Thames Valley Police and the Children’s Society and is available for Slough businesses, groups and organisation on Friday 8th March 11:00-12:30.

As part of this session, you will be given an insight into the award winning #LookCloser  awareness campaign led by the Children’s Society in partnership with the National County Lines Coordination Centre and the British Transport Police. The campaign seeks to strengthen the response to child exploitation by helping to spot the signs and effectively safeguard children and young people in our local communities. Officers from Thames Valley Police will also discuss the role intelligence sharing and the vital role that local businesses play in disrupting exploitation and safeguarding children and young adults from harm. A Q&A session will round off the event.
