Small Grants Scheme For Schools

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of Berkshire East Public Health Hub for the attention of all Schools.

We have a small grants scheme to fund voluntary groups, community groups and social enterprises to provide projects that form part of the Sexual and Reproductive Health approach in Berkshire East. The amount awarded is between £500 - £1500. For a single college or school that has more than one group activity for the target groups, we can look into seeing if they can apply for more than one grant.

Your details will be passed on to our consultants who will help you with applying for the grant and guide you through the whole process.

The target groups for this grant are:

  • People living with neurodiversity, particularly those with a learning disability – the work will be used to identify how accessible people with this characteristic in Berks East find sexual health advice and sexual health services locally.
  • Women of Asian and White Other ethnic groups:  to explore how accessible they find contraceptive advice and services in Berkshire East.

This would be a great opportunity to make use of this grant to engage with these groups. Could you please share details of the lead contact within your organisation with respect to these groups please.

We would appreciate any information you can share at your earliest convenience please.
