To provide a basic Introduction to Safeguarding children where participants will learn to identify the four types of abuse and indicators of abuse. Participants will develop an understanding of how to respond effectively when a concern is raised, following the Slough Partnership reporting procedures. This is a target course for childminders identified by the Senior Childcare Development Officer.
