Introduction to becoming an ELLP

This training is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years Team for the attention of SENDCOs, EYFS leads and other EY colleagues in settings and schools who work with children with SLCN.

Introduction to becoming an ELLP

Do you and your team feel confident in supporting and developing speech, language and communication (SLC) with the children in your setting?

Do you know how to identify children who are delayed in their speech, language and communication and those with SLC needs?

Does your setting have an Early Language Lead Practitioner (ELLP)?

If these are questions you would like answers to, come and find out more about Slough's local SLC support programme used in many of our Early Years settings. In this session we will give you a brief overview of the I Talk programme, and its many techniques, materials and strategies, and the developmental identification tool, that have been developed in partnership with Speech and Language Therapists.
