This is a series of 6 training sessions for Learning support assistants that are either new to the role new to Slough.
We would prefer if participants attend all the 6 sessions of the course but individuals can book specific sessions if they have a particular interest in a particular topic.

This is the Autism Education Trust training - This module is an awareness-raising module that introduces autism and the Three Areas of Difference: Social Understanding and Communication, Flexibility, Information Processing and Understanding and Sensory Processing and Integration. We explore the Three Areas of Difference in terms of strengths and support needs and identify some initial reasonable adjustments that need to be considered when supporting autistic pupils.
