This event has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's School Inclusion & Effectiveness Manager, Samantha Caley for the attention of all schools.
The Slough SEND Conference is fast approaching on the 22 January 2025 9-5 , and I am delighted to send through the link to the booking form so you can reserve your place. This year we are charging £45 per person, and this will include a light lunch.
The day will include a keynote speaker who will deliver training around SUMO’ Ramp up your resilience and well being’. We are then offering a carousel of workshops in the afternoon including a further workshop on embedding SUMO techniques for yourself and others. This is a partnership event and we are sure that and this is reflected in our workshops and those we have invited.
The workshops we have are:
- SALT Berkshire – Developing total communication.
- Angela Mumford (Littledown School) - Trauma
- Emma Louise Griffiths – Developing play (all ages) for CYP with ASC
- Early Years - To be confirmed
- Jovi Armatrading – Developing CYP’s engagement
- SUMO – Techniques
Once you have confirmed your place, we will contact you to identify which workshops you would like to attend. We have also a number of agencies/groups who will be attending with information stands. (If you are interested, please let me know). Places are limited and we are offering places to all our partners so please book early.
