On 10 October 2022, the DfE published the 2023 EYFSP handbook. The handbook provides guidance for schools when they complete the EYFSP assessment for children at the end of reception year and is designed to help teachers make accurate judgements about each child’s level of development. In the 2022/23 academic year, the profile must be completed and submitted to the relevant local authority no later than 30 June 2023.
