Thank you for your ongoing support of the school based vaccination programmes and ongoing work to promote the health of school children in Slough.
I wanted to pick up one specific area relating to the HPV vaccination and cervical cancer in women and girls.
There has been some specific cases recently in Slough where parents and staff have been in touch to clarify the efficacy of the vaccination and the reasoning behind having the vaccination.
To answer these questions and dispel any myths associated with the HPV vaccination I would like to draw your attention to the following 4 resources and the attached flyer.
