Online Teachers' Pension Service & Public Sector Pay Letter 2018-19

Online Teachers Pension Service

We have been notified by Teachers Pensions that they are urging their members to sign up to their online service. The benefits for teaches registering are summarised in the bullet points below:

Teachers will have access to:

  • Update your details anytime online
  • View your Benefit Statement – this is the only place you can view this
  • Nominate beneficiaries
  • Complete important forms and documents
  • Use online calculators to explore your benefits
  • Find out more about the other benefits available to you

By registering it also means that Teachers’ Pensions can contact teachers directly with important updates and changes that may affect their pension.

For SCHOOLS using the SBC payroll service - One additional request: when any new teacher is appointed at your school, please could you make sure that their appointment details form (ADF) includes the teacher’s home email address. This will ensure that they receive a starter pack from Teachers’ Pensions direct.

School Teachers Pay Award for 2018

Please find attached the Letter which confirms that there is a delay in the process of agreeing the School Teachers Pay Award for 2018.
