During the current academic year the Prevent team has had the pleasure of meeting some of the senior school staff and visiting the schools to offer Prevent training to staff, offer presentations at assemblies or discuss relevant training packages.
We would like to extend the offer of Prevent training to all schools and nurseries from September onwards and are booking in sessions already for inset days and twilight sessions.
The training is available for staff, students and parents. All the presentations are bespoke for each group and consist of current threats, changes in behaviour, myth busting, what constitutes a referral, case studies, confidence to report and support available from Prevent. Training is delivered with a lots of relevant examples.
The training times can be flexible to your needs and fit around what works best for your school. If we have already discussed dates for training, you do not need to respond to this message.
