Your school should by now have everything you need for the Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA), which will be statutory in schools from September 2021. You should have received your physical resources for the RBA, as well as login details and passwords to access the Baseline ePortal (BeP).
All staff involved in the RBA, can now prepare for the assessment by exploring the BeP and accessing the training materials. These include a set of short videos explaining key aspects of the assessment and a preview assessment showing all of the RBA tasks.
Practitioners will need to familiarise themselves with these training materials before they begin to administer assessments.
