The Children’s Social Care National Framework was published in December 2023.
This statutory guidance sets out the principles behind children’s social care, the purpose children’s social care, the factors which enable good practice and what should be achieved. The full guidance can be found at Children's social care: national framework - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).
In addition to the full guidance the government has helpfully produced an illustrated guide (attached) which can be shared with families to help them understand the principles and purpose of what we do.
