Schools’ Forum on Wednesday 6 July 2022 approved a change to the Scheme for Financing Maintained Schools. The revised scheme for financing schools 2022 -23 is now published on the website for you reference.
The procurement threshold in the scheme has been increased to £25k (from £10k) which is in line with the council’s contract procedure rules. This increase was made following consultation with Slough’s Maintained Schools. Please note that any procurement that involves services to be provided with a different provider which have staffing implication must be notified to the Local Authority.
Please find attached a copy of the form to be used to get approval for procurements over £60k, this now includes a space for the chair of governors sign off.
