This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Service Lead for Early Years and Prevention, Michael Jarrett, for the attention of Schools and Early Years settings to share with parents/carers.
Special Voices is a group of parent/carers of children, young people and adults with disabilities/additional needs and is the parent/carer forum for Slough.
We would like to invite all parent/carers to our event this month (details on newsletter) where we will be joined by Janette Fullwood, the Head of Children, Young People and Families for the NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
NHS East Berkshire commission a range of services for Children and Young People with additional needs, including specialist CAMHS , Integrated Therapies (speech and Language, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy). Janette will be coming along to share updates/developments on some of the work taking place in relation to health services for SEND (including Autism support) that the CCG are responsible for, but also some of the wider partnership work taking place.
