Oxfordshire Community Dental Service that is commissioned to undertake oral health improvement in Slough is running a summer oral health promotion. With the COVID-19 pandemic still rearing it’s ugly head, and the effects of which we will be seeing for many more months to come, the oral health of the local community is even more a cause for concern. Lockdown may well have increased the need to support families with young children, vulnerable adults, and our senior citizens.
Whatever a person’s age, the maintenance of good oral health contributes to their general health and wellbeing. A daily oral hygiene routine, regular dental check-ups and a healthy lifestyle all help to protect both mouth and body.
