As part of our sector engagement work, we are planning to run an hour-long twilight webinar for childminders on 13 November 2018, starting at 7pm. The webinar will cover updates on Ofsted, information about safeguarding practice, and other aspects of early years.
We will send details of how to book a place in due course, but in the meantime, please could you promote this event to childminders in your local authority.
We are also looking to engage with members of management committees to promote our regulatory and inspection expectations and procedures. It is likely we will offer a webinar in the New Year for committee members.
We are keen to make this as useful as possible. Therefore, we are looking to hold a workshop to plan this webinar, and would greatly value involvement from relevant organisations and local authorities.
The intended date for the workshop is 22 November 2018. The likely venue will be London, and there will also be a dial in facility to facilitate participation.
