Slough Borough Council are pleased to be delivering the national Wellbeing for Education Return Programme. The programme will respond to the wellbeing and mental health needs of children and young people as a result of COVID-19. This has been developed and funded by the Department for Education in partnership with other government departments and an expert advisory group which included representatives from the Anna Freud Centre and Mind-Ed.
This support initiative involves delivery of a nationally developed training package for education staff and on-going support for schools until March 2021. It will commence late September 2020 and we confirm that the training will be offered to every school and college in Slough .
