Your School's Personalised NCMP Data for 2018

This message has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Public Health Programme Officer - Physical Activity and Obesity, Timothy Howells, for the attention of Primary Schools.

Thank you for taking part in this years’ National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).

I am pleased to announce that the most up to date data has been released from Public Health England and a personalised letter is being sent out to your school with the overview and local opportunities.

This letter, based on an average of 3 years worth of weight measurements, will show the percentage of your students that are overweight and obese, it will also provide you with unique ways to reduce these percentages and support your pupils overall health and wellbeing. One of these is the unique “Active Movement” which we are commissioning on a limited basis available to Slough Primary Schools. This programme is expected to be in high demand based on the feedback from the pilot schools taking part, so please get in contact as soon as physically possible if you are interested.

If you would like a copy of your NCMP data and support resources electronically, then please email me directly on timothy.howells@slough.gov.uk.
