This volunteering opportunity has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of Together as One (Aik Saath), Resource Productions and SWIPE for the attention of all Schools.
The Young People's Steering Group is an opportunity of empowerment for young people in Slough to not only advocate for themselves but the changes they wish to see in the community.
It's an open forum that allows them to influence services specifically made for them with the help of local youth organisations, as well as socialise with like-minded peers. On the 1st Thursday of every month from 6pm to 7.30pm, we meet at the YES Shop, our community centre in Slough High Street, and discuss issues affecting the local young people and how our activities can best support or reflect them.
