Sakoon Through Cancer charity would like to deliver workshops to schools outlining the myths and facts of Breast Cancer and promoting wellbeing, by regularly self examination.
Their objectives:
- To promote breast cancer education by undertaking outreach work at local schools and in the community
- Raise awareness about breast cancer and the effects it has on South Asian Community by sharing our stories as Cancer survivors
The workshop is an interactive 1 hour session, ideal class size would be 20-25. Workshop is delivered by the charity’s co-founders who share their journeys and they have successfully delivered this programme in local schools.
