Data has shown that only around 49% of positive Lateral Flow home test results associated with Slough schools/colleges have a confirmatory PCR test.
This means that the Lateral Flow result is unconfirmed and not all positive Lateral Flow tests give a positive PCR result. Contract tracing is not always being initiated without a PCR test and variant testing cannot be undertaken. If you think that you might have COVID please make sure that you have a PCR test.
