DfE Data Collection
On the 17th December the DfE will be publishing a statement confirming that we are now ending the Early Years data collection and publication.
We appreciate the amount of work it has taken for providers to keep completing the attendance data collection and we’d like to thank you all for your support since collection began in April 2020. However, in the event that the COVID pandemic results in substantial changes to guidance for the education sector, for example if schools close but EY settings remain open, or if EY settings close, we may have to resume the data collection.
Careers Progression Map
The attached Childcare and Early Years careers progression map has been designed by Early Years experts and stakeholders and supported by the Department for Education (DfE). It is intended for use by the Childcare and Early Years sector, careers advisers and anyone who is considering a career in the childcare sector.
