This morning (31/03/2020), the government has updated their COVID-19 FSM webpage - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-free-school-meals-guidance.
The webpage now contains details of the government’s national voucher scheme which schools can use if they are unable to provide meals or food parcels via existing school food providers. Schools will receive an email today (31/03/2020) from DfE’s supplier Edenred, regarding how to access and administer the voucher scheme locally.
The webpage also contains answers to a number of frequently asked questions, so please review these at your earliest convenience.
