This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Senior Childcare Development Officer, Danielle Mercer on behalf of the DfE, for the attention of all Early Years professionals.
Last week we shared information about the DfE Pulse Survey and you may have also received an email from the DfE directly or other professional organisations such as EYA, NDNA and PACEY.
DfE is running this survey to understand the impact of COVID on Early Years settings, focusing on workforce and child absences. Participation involves early years settings filling in a very short weekly survey during January and February. The survey is designed to be easy and quick and should only take 5 minutes to complete; the survey can be completed online at any time that suits you, comes out on a Monday to be completed by midnight on Wednesday and questions remain the same for each week providing DfE with regular and consistent information. We have attached a letter from the DfE that gives more detail about the Pulse Survey, please read this for your own information.
For ease we are sharing this link that takes you directly to the survey. This will close at 23.59 on Wednesday 19th January. Thank you to all of you who did complete the survey last week, please use this new link for this week.
On behalf of the DfE we would like to thank you for finding the time to complete these weekly online surveys.
