Please see attached posters and guidance documents for details of how parents/Carers can get help to ensure their children are up to date with all their pre-school immunisations. This is a priority for Slough due to our low vaccination rates.
Measles is of particular concern following two confirmed cases of the disease in Berkshire. Public Health England (PHE) South East are therefore urging people to check they are up-to-date with two doses of the MMR vaccine.
Measles is a highly infectious viral illness that can lead to serious complications, especially in people with immune problems, pregnant women, and in babies younger than one year. It is extremely infectious, can strike anyone and in some instances can have very serious long term and life changing consequences.
