I am enclosing a range of information in relation to the new pay scales. We are in the process of implementing the national pay award into SBC terms and conditions via a local collective agreement with Unison, GMB and Unite. If you have any questions, please contact Belinda Collins.
At this stage this is the proposal to implement the nationally agreed pay award following local consultation with our local trade union representatives. We have to wait until all the unions have agreed the proposals, which has been agreed in principle, however, as we are going down the route of a collective agreement, this has to be formally signed off by national trade unions. At that point we can confirm that it has formally been agreed.
Please note, the Level 5 payscales are going to be using 6 spinal column points – shown in highlight on the pay scale spreadsheet.
