There is a large amount of misinformation circulating on social media, including Facebook, twitter and WhatsApp. If you receive any questions or become aware of your school being mentioned on social media please immediately share the correct links with parents to reassure them. If for any reason your setting makes the decision to close – because of COVID-19 or any other reason – please let us know immediately. Any closure of any setting at this time would be concerning for residents and we need to be aware from the outset.

Please use this email address rather than any individual contacts you may have at the council, so we can ensure we are capturing all local concerns and can get back to you as a matter of urgency.
