This campaign focuses on promotion of good oral health and provides children, families and teachers with resources and support.
During National Smile Month (16th May - 16th June 2022), we are promoting four key messages for better oral health:
- Brush teeth for two minutes, last thing at night and one other time during the day, with a fluoride toothpaste.
- Clean between your teeth every day.
- Cut down how much and how often you have sugary foods and drinks.
- Visit a dentist regularly.

Jacqui Shadrache is working closely with the early years settings to support their delivery and promotion of oral health promotional work.
Our providers have attached a number of activities and resources for schools and early years settings to promote this message and raise awareness of the importance of oral health.
