Do you know what the Getting Help Team offer?

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Jatinder Matharu, Education Safeguarding Professional, aimed at all DSL’s/DDSL’s, Headteachers and pastoral teams in Slough Schools.

We have become aware that many schools are unfamiliar with the Slough Getting Help Team and how children and young people can be referred to our service for support with mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties. Therefore, they have put together a short video to introduce you to the team, what support they offer and who is eligible for support from the team, and they will talk you through how you can make a referral to the service.

You can watch a pre-recorded presentation here.

Please can you complete this short survey before watching the video to help ascertain a baseline here.

You can also access ‘Getting Help’ services using the MARF for all non-MHST schools. It can be downloaded here
