In accordance with the statutory requirements outlined in the 2019, early years foundation stage: assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA), Slough Early Years Service is offering training in EYFS Profile assessment and the completion of the EYFS Profile summaries.
It is the Local Authorities’ duty to ensure that EYFS providers understand and follow the requirements set out in the ARA by providing advice on all aspects of assessment at EYFS and providing training, including training on agreement trialling.
Slough Early Years Service is, therefore, offering EYFS practitioners who will be completing the EYFS Profile in June 2019 a free half-day training session. We recommend that at least one teacher from each school in Slough attends.
Course content:
Agreement trialling with national exemplification materials
Completion of EYFS Profile
