This seminar has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Education Safeguarding Officer, Jatinder Matharu on behalf of PC Lisa McKinley from the Thames Valley Police. This is for the attention of Secondary phase DSLs and Heads.

Thames Valley Police would like to invite secondary phase DSLs and Heads to a Mentors in Violence Prevention seminar to be held on Tuesday 14th July 2020 between 09:30-12:10 via zoom.  The seminar is an introduction of bystander training within the educational setting and will start to tackle the culture, the beliefs and the attitudes that say violence is acceptable.

The MVP is a programme that is being funded by Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit and the Police Crime Commissioner, it is evidence based with a proven track record that’s been adopted by a number of police forces nationally.

You can also find more information within the attached document. Those who register will receive a zoom link one week before the event.
