BBC Gladiators micro:bit competition | Now Open

The competition is now OPEN! We’re excited to send the latest version of the press pack with NEW socials for you to share from today for the BBC Gladiators micro:bit competition!

Do you want to help inspire imagination and creativity in a classroom full of students? Then please spread the word! We’d love for you to share the attached social posts on your channels and re-share our upcoming BBC Teach posts. By sharing, you’ll help bring awareness to teachers and create an unmissable classroom experience for their students.

COMPETITION DETAILS:

The BBC micro:bit – the next gen campaign has teamed up with the hit TV show Gladiators to launch this new design competition for 7 – 11-year-olds across the UK. All you need is a great idea and your design skills.

The competition launched with a special Live Lesson featuring Gladiators Phantom and Dynamite, now available to watch anytime on the BBC Teach website and on BBC iplayer.

Schools could win a Gladiator visit, a £500 voucher for computing equipment and more!

Teachers can download a set of FREE curriculum aligned lesson plans that will bring Gladiator fun into the classroom. 

Entries close at midday on 6th December 2024.
