As schools across Slough prepare to close and work with reduced staff, please find attached numerous documents that we believe are beneficial.
The 2020 COVID19 School Closures document is a letter regarding how to manage the school activities and the building over the coming weeks, months and how to close down operations safely. This specifically explains how to close the school safely and how to manage planned maintenance programs during this period. It also includes how to manage keyworker children and activities.
There are two attachments specifically for secondary schools with reference to the safe closure of science departments and D&T Art - specifically in relation to gas and chemicals.
General guidance regarding maintaining staff wellbeing and DSE information for staff working from home is also attached along with the SBC memo of keeping an active life whilst at home from the Wellbeing Team.
