National Care Leavers' Week

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of Slough Children First for the attention of all schools working with parents and carers. 

National Care Leavers’ Week will be taking place between Monday 28th October until Sunday 3rd November 2024. Care Leavers Week is an annual event that exists for the public, professionals, carers, decision-makers and the media to come together, celebrating care leavers and raise awareness. This year’s themes is ‘All of Us, We Are One’.

To mark the week, we have organised events specifically for our Care Experienced Young People (highlighted Orange), alongside other amazing activities hosted by Participation:
