Staying safe on the school run

At school drop-off and pick-up times, roads can be especially busy. Fortunately, there are plenty of things you can do to help keep them safe.

When were your gas appliances last checked?

Was it in the last year? And was it by a Gas Safe registered and qualified engineer? As Gas Safety Week approaches (11 – 17th September) it’s the perfect opportunity to ensure your family is gas safe. Please get your gas appliances checked annually and encourage your family and friends to do the same.

Is your gas hob unsafe?

Speaking of gas safety, if you have a gas hob from one of these nine UK manufacturers your family could be at serious risk of poisoning, burns, gas explosion or fire. Faulty elbow joints used to connect certain models to the gas supply can cause a gas leak. Please check now. This is especially urgent if you have a caravan, campervan or motorhome.
