Safety

Water Safety and Window Safety

Description
The Public Health Programme Manager, Fatima Ndanusa, would like to bring your attention to a very short video clip by the CCG on water and window safety accessible here.

Prevent

Prevent is a key strand in the government’s counter-terrorism strategy, also known as CONTEST. Local authorities are seen as having a major role to play in preventing people from being drawn into terrorist activity – whatever the ideology behind it. The aim of Prevent is to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. The government regards Prevent as a key part of CONTEST and does not believe it is possible to resolve the threats we face simply by arresting and prosecuting more people.

British Youth Council | Make Your Mark

Young People aged 11-18 from Slough will be taking part in the annual Make Your Mark ballot, the largest consultation of young people in the country coordinated by the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) and locally by members of Slough Youth Parliament (SYP) and staff from the Young People’s Service.

Safeguarding Projects

We are working on a range of projects to raise the profile of safeguarding with children and young people through creative ways including drama, arts and digital platforms in PSHE.
